Blue Rose Ranch, Inc.

Blue Rose Ranch, Inc., a horse rescue and adoption facility, is located in southeastern Colorado on beautiful
Bear Creek, two miles north of Springfield on Hwy 287. At Blue Rose Ranch, we are dedicated to the care and rescue of unwanted horses. In addition, we train and
rehabilitate horses to the end that they can be successfully adopted by qualified persons who have qualified facilities.

| Natural horse life
|
| The Colorado Unwanted Horse Coalition estimates that 5000 unwanted horses are generated each year
in Colorado. Blue Rose Ranch is dedicated to finding or providing forever homes to all unwanted horses, and will also sanctuary horses, as necessary to their natural
or merciful death. Horses come to us from many sources: ex-race horses and rodeo stock, those confiscated by authorities due to neglect, and horses where owners,
for a myriad of reasons, find themselves no longer able to care for their horses.
|
| On the ranch, each horse receives the highest standard of care including: all necessary veterinary care,
farrier care, covered shelter, fresh water, feed (including special dietary feed as necessary), handling and training. Horses have ample opportunity to roam the
ranch to just enjoy being horses.
|
| Blue Rose Ranch, Inc. has developed a comprehensive program we call Natural Horse Ranching. It begins with a natural approach to horse training
which establishes trust and safety between horse and handler. We combine this training with natural horse life, where horses live and interact in herds,
with the opportunity to roam and graze the ranch. This natural horse life creates an environment that is healing to horses who have been abused
and neglected. These two combine to produce Natural Horse Ranching, which allows the horse the speediest and most lasting recovery to maximize the
horse's potential.
|
Blue Rose ranch, Inc. also provides an outreach to the community. While volunteers are vital to
the success of the horse rescue, those who come to help care for the horses testify of the therapeutic value they gain working with our horses. Kids and teens
are invited to join us at the ranch in our summer programs, where they learn about horses and receive riding lessons in exchange for volunteer work. They have fun

the horses, and the teamwork needed in the program fosters respect for others.
|
| In addition to being a horse ranch, Blue Rose Ranch has a working farm, growing
a portion of the hay needed for the horses. The Blue Rose Ranch Cattle Company was established in 2009. We raise Registered Herefords for breeding stock.
All proceeds go to the horse rescue operations. We always have many horses looking for new "forever" homes. Blue Rose Ranch has adoption and foster
programs available for our wonderful horses. We also have some facilities available for horse boarding to benefit the rescue.
